Tech Juniors Visit Hamilton Beach!

Engineering and Design in the Real World

Junior Technology majors got a glimpse of how marketing, business, industrial design, and engineering work hand-in-hand when they visited Hamilton Beach in Glen Allen, Virginia.  The students learned about everything from packaging design to testing to how recipes are created in the test kitchen!

A huge "Thank you!" to everyone at Hamilton Beach for taking time out of their day to educate our students!

Scenes from Robotics Season 2017

ARGS Robotics

Well, we can't expect to go to Worlds every year!  Even though we were very lucky to have been to the FIRST Robotics World Championships in Saint Louis for two of our three years of existence as Team 5546, we didn't make it this year.

However, we accomplished SO much this year on so many levels!  We had more spirit and participation than we ever have and our community outreach has been tremendous.  The robotics team has started running monthly STEM workshops at the Petersburg Public Library and we have formed a great relationship with Petersburg Parks and Leisure

We are STILL actively working on outreach and we need your help!  If you are able, please donate to A.R.T. 5546 so that we can continue our programs!

Here are some great photos from our events!
